Curriculum

Standards Based
Our Developmentally Appropriate Standards and Inquiry Based Curriculum are built around each
individual child.  All of our preschool classrooms and outdoor play areas include centers created to
promote the development of the whole child through multi-sensory experiences.
 
                                                 Early Literacy                                                                                  
Children will experience direct small group and whole group instruction based on each students' interests and developmentally appropriate standards.  A print rich environment will create a love of reading and an awareness of written and spoken language.
 
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math):
Children will experience STEAM activities, within the classroom to foster growth in math, science, and the arts.   Through project based curriculum and centers, students will use hands on manipulatives to encourage questioning, hypothesizing, experimentation, and analysis.  Our STEAM coordinator will prepare modified lessons for our two year olds to complete within their current classroom all while building their stamina and inquiry skills. 
 
Christ Centered Curriculum: Non-Denominational
Christ centered curriculum and prayer will be integrated daily into the academic curriculum.  Our goal is to show God's love through modeling and our everyday actions.  We want all of our students to know that we love them, God loves them, and Jesus died for them.
